I posted in the bass guitar forum last night and then noticed the intro section!
While bass guitar is not my main instrument I do love playing it. I started when I was about 16 when my dad fished a bass body out of the shed and made up the neck for me. I still have this guitar but don’t play it that much as it’s quite heavy and not really loud enough for the theatre pit. I would never never get rid though.
My gigging bass is an SGC Nanyo bass Collection, it is currently at the repairers (see “poorly bass” thread).
I use a valve amp head with separate speaker, my dad made these too. It’s now around 28 years old and I love the sound.
