Another Prat Bass in the works!

I've commissioned Oscar to build a 5-string Piccolo (EADGC). We morphed the body shape from a Strat.

What do you think?

16mm spacing, Maple neck, Baked Maple Fretboard, other materials pending... Considering Bubinba and Maple top...

I really like the body shape. It's far enough away from the stereotypical P/J shape to be unique and interesting, but not so far out in left field that it's awkward.

Looks good, but a question. Have you played 16mm before? I ask because its pretty tight and isn't for everyone. I like tight spacing for pick use, but not so much for fingerstyle...

That should be pretty interesting bass. And knowing Oscar the qaulity is going to be off the chart.
