Looked everywhere, anyone know what body wood the latest rays are made of? MM site just says selected hardwoods. I figure alder or maple but I would like to know for sure.

Bodies are most likely alder and ash, the necks are maple and the fingerboards are either maple, rosewood or pau ferro.
Very few were made of alder, especially lately. If there were any alder bodied rays they were probably in the 90s, on solid finished bodies. Sterling Ball stated once (IIRC) that abot 99%+ are made of ash nowadays. I cant imagine they even keep stock of alder anymore. Maybe they just use it once in a while if they come across a particular piece they like, or if the ash stock is low. Who knows.
