Another reason not to trust lists/funny list

Best Bassist Ever, you shouldn't believe a list like that anyways.

There is no and never will be a Best Bassist Ever. The fact that it's an opinion keeps that and most of the other lists dealing with music out of stone (i.e. written in stone) haha.

And taking a look at that list, it's awful to me. I know my favs will never be listed as the greatest bassists ever because they don't play very intricate basslines (reggae ya know). But regardless, that list excludes a whole race of bassists haha. Not one black bassist on the list. Jamerson? Graham? Clarke? Not one of us made it? Nuff said.

Well, Clifford Lee Burton is heading the list. So the list is correct.

:D

:hiding:

Markus Grosskopf isn't on the list. :(
Probably one of the greatest bassists that come to my mind. Or one of the greatest in metal anyway. (IMO)

The comment for Steve DiGorgio
One of the only metal bassists who plays a fretless bass, ...

"One of the only" ??? :eyebrow::)
It would make a good song title though.

Jamerson is top 2 in my book. This list is ********.

but... BUT!!!

They got number 3 close!

3) Tetsuya Ogawa (L’arc en ciel)

“the first thing that made me know that the intro of a song played on radio is Laruku’s song, is from his bass.
not many bassist (or at least I’ve never met one but him) who can play that kind of bass.
though I don’t know about music, but his bass is ssoo amazing! very unique and... God I just can’t describe it!
i love your masterplaying on bass Tetsu-sama! *kiss! *”

hahaha :atoz:
