Another VS. thread: Darkglass B3K vs Wampler Low Blow vs VMT

Okay, got a little gig money in my pocket and am considering the three pedals above. (As well as the VMT deluxe and B7K. I have EQs and DIs already, but the big DG boxes look so cool!! ) I know the DGs have been pretty extensively covered, but not much out there on the Wampler...

I play mostly passive PJs, with occasionally an L2000 and occasionally a Jazz V, in a band that covers 80s, 90, 00s Classic rock and country from Cash to Elvis to modern. A little bit of something for everyone to hate...

I also have an Aguilar AGRO, which I intend to leave on the board, but want something that goes from more subtle OD up to old metal distortion. Don't need a fuzz, though.

I run into an M6 Mesa, which has a great gain stage, but I want something I can kick in and out moving from Miranda to Imagine Dragons.

I know there are lots of other great pedals out there, but I'm interested in the ones listed.

An older school OD stacked into the B3K would be my personal favorite. Expensive to put a VMT in front of it, but one of my favorite tones ever. Most of it comes from the B3K though.

I agree. VMT in front of a B3K is the best OD I've ever tried.
