I stumbled upon this bass in a catalogue from a local store. They were having an inventory blow out sale and were selling this for $450 CAD which is a steal because I seen the same one sell for $650 at another store in a day.

I have heard and read a lot about "lawsuit" basses so I am very excited. The bass is a Yamaha pulsar 400. According to the sales associate it is in perfect condition and was just set up.
I have a MIJ squier SQ series which is the best precision I've ever owned (I've owned many) and has never left me wanting an american one. This Yamaha is a little older and one of the reasons why squier was created in the first place so would be great to compare. Anyone have experience with these? How were they?
