Any archers here?

Bows and arrows don't kill people. Archers do - and then they take the money from the rich and give it to the poor.

Although I hate guns, I've always been facinated by getting a bow and doing some target practice. Does that make me a hypocrite? Or am I just turning into a Republican in my old age?

Perhaps I will head down to the closest archery store and take a look. Any suggestions for what to look for, and what pratfalls to avoid?

i used to want to do the 3d archery tourneys, never did it though. i used to bowhunt, but when i'm in the states i rarely have anyplace to hunt that isn't overcrowded gamelands. so i don't mess with it as much.
