Got some serious gas on this bass. Anybody rocking a bass like this one and if so how do you like it? It seems a bit steep at $3500 US list price.

I didn’t have that specific one, but had one of the BFR fretless for awhile. The thing was incredible! Every detail was perfect on it, to the point where it was almost too nice to even play. Eventually i sold it because i didn’t need two fretless and my other was a bit more versatile, but i do regret getting rid of it at times.

If you like Stingrays and can afford it, just buy it

If you are patient though you could probably get a better deal on a used BFR but it may take awhile

BFR Black sugar magic with ebony fretboard and roasted birdseye neck from 2012, long time before the roasted hype started, MM was way ahead of their time.
The only thing I have to complain is a pretty ugly dead spot on the G string. Other than that its perfect, beautiful and amazing.

Beautiful bass! Sucks about the dead spot though…
