Any Idea What Happened to OLP Tony Levin

I bought an OLP Tony Levin model, came with a zonked neck:bawl:
(forms an "s" warp" when you try to set it up)
I talked to Sparks Music in Nevada, who sold it to me
though Ebay, and emailed OLP - They both agreed to swap
the bass out when stock became available again after
the factory/production reorganization. This was supposed
to be in Sept...Now it's October and neither is returning
my emails - OLP emails bounce back undeliverable :hmm:
I see from Music123 and other online
sales places that stock is not yet out for sale -
Anybody know much about what's up with OLP?

I decided - in the absence of email replies - to call
OLP in Fla, got a rather disinterested fellow on the phone
who told me they had moved production, but were moving
production again! There would be "some" stock available
in late November, but real steady supply would not be till
January....:rollno:
Makes me wish I had been more persistent on just getting my money back:scowl:
I only agreed to sit tight and wait for a swap out when
it seemed to be a few weeks - not into next year.

Talked to Micheal at Sparks Music Center (the seller)
at least he is still on the same page with me:)
He also chased some answers out of the OLP rep
and hopes to have me a new one by Dec - If that
happens, I will be thrilled at this point.

THEN I can get on with my project:hyper:

I bought the stuff from StewMac to give the flame
maple natural body an orange trans coat - so I
can end up with something approximating what I want
but they don't make - a "barbie flesh" Tony Levin
with a maple board:cool:
