Any idea what strings these are?

I know this is a bit of a stretch... I aam a flat wound guy... up till now
Then I heard this sound sample which was played on a Warwick Corvette.

What would at least get me in the park?

How do you describe the strings sonically- as in warm , mellow, old school (obviously I am not describing these strings)
Are they on the extreme end of the sonic possibilities of round wound strings?
