Any issues with Warwick setup?

I just became acquainted with a neighbor who owns a five string Warwick bass. Knowing that I build partscasters, he asked me if I could do a setup for him. I told him I'm not sure if I'm qualified, but I'm interested to know if there are any particular issues in working with the brand. (I've never even seen a Warwick). It sounds as if the neck is somewhat bowed and the action's high. Do they use a standard truss rod arrangement or are there special things are person would need to know before doing something like this?

The only thing to really know about a Warwick is that they can be adjusted probably more than any other bass. You can literally adjust anything on them thanks to the nut and bridge design. The truss rod is just normal though, nothing odd. Download the manual and get familiar with it:
