Are you using the Hulu Desktop app or watching in your browser? Is your app or browser up to date? If you're using a browser, have you tried a different one?
I hadn't heard of the "Hulu Desktop app" so I Googled it. It seems they discontinued that in Feb '15. I was using Chrome, and have since I had trouble with Firefox a year ago. I tried running Safari but when I tried Hulu, I got a message saying I needed to update Adopbe Flash. So I did that. Restarted computer, re-opened Safari, went to Hulu- same "need to update Adobe" message.
The 45 minute software update must've fixed something because I vegged for five hours yesterday no problem.
You're right. the built in OS X ones I can move, but others like itsycal, quicksilver, etc can't be moved either among each other or mix-n-match within the OS X ones.
I'm running Sierra on, get this, my 09 MacBook (white unibody- last model before they eliminated the MacBook altogether) with a lowly 4 GB ram with no issues.
I don't do much beside Photoshop, iTunes, online NFL streaming, and web browsing so no too much of a burden, but I've had no problems.
