Any new music or bands suggestions

I couldn't agree more. My old band played with them years ago before the hiatus. Awesome show. Awesome dudes. Awesome time!

Speaking of awesome dudes and in the nature of a good bro-down name-drop: a couple other bands that gets mentioned in the same heavy music circle that were awesome and super nice dudes were Suicide File and Achilles(who are playing again, which is AWESOME).

As for Colliseum... Man, i'm sorry to hear that they don't *chuckle* coalesce with their hometown very well. Any time i've ever played with them they were really nice. But my band was way more on the crust end of the spectrum and those shows reflected that and i guess they were more comfortable with that. They were a tad preachy, but that was all but par for the course of that specific show... learned a lot about Social Security that night at least :D

Man, I could name drop all day. My band's BFF band so to speak is a group called Sohns from San Antonio. If you didn't know them before this, I encourage you look them up. I can assure you that even if I hadn't mentioned them, they'd make it to you eventually. Then there's groups like La Dispute, Comadre, Native, etc. I <3 Achilles though. They're coming through Louisville in September. I can't wait.

And yeah, maybe I'm just picky about people. I've never been the kid wandering shows sporting the "Rep your scene" attitude, but I think it would be cool to show some appreciation to the town that made you what you are. Those kids in Louisville are really into them, why not give them the love of an occasional home show? Beyond that it would all be me complaining about personalities, which I wont.

What's your band called?
