My wife is a very good jamming keyboardist with decades of accompaniment experience mainly on real pianos, occasional organ, and a few Yamaha keyboards and e-piano. She recently started working with a Nord Stage 2, which I helped a little with. It was way out of date.. 2014 IIRC, but no problems getting updated to latest OS which I think is 2.28, going from memory. Forgive me if I use the wrong terminology as I just read manuals and rushed through a few videos so I don't know the right term for everything
The big issue is with getting the desired samples/sounds onto the keyboard, and those primarily in the synth section. I put the software manager on the Windows 10 pc and downloaded a lot of samples there, and then tried to update/load them onto the keyboard. it looked like the standard voices that were already resident on the keyboard were being replaced with those of the same name, later vintage. But I didn't see a "confirmation" message on the PC or kbd that all that had worked out.
At any rate, we have 115 samples stored on kbd, before and after the attempted refresh, but some of the ones she specifically needs are not among them and all attempts to force them don't seem to work. Probably doing something wrong. The whole list is up around 140 samples, but the stage 2 is still with the list of 115.
