In my defense, I was left unsupervised.

Are there guidelines posted somewhere for photo use in threads? I've looked around and haven't been able to find any. I'm trying to figure out why the little preview photo in my Bass For Sale thread in the classifieds is all distorted. I'm using links in the thread to photos stored elsewhere online in case that factors into it.

THANKS FOR BRINGING THIS UP! Although I think The TB Forum interface works pretty darned well, and isn't half as hard to figure out as many other sites, I haven't yet found the answer to your question...Can a classifieds vet help us? I'm sick of the "YOU'VE GOT GLAUCOMA!" view of my nice P bass...

Hi guys. Well, the thumbnail is a basic square, 100x100 pixels. It'll take whatever you specify as your first image in the post, and squish it into a square. So, if the aspect ratio of your photo is square, you're good (whether it's 200x200, or 1200x1200).

This is a bad example. It's not square, and looks terrible when squashed into a square:

This is a GOOD example. Square aspect ratio looks great as a thumbnail:
