Any Smokeless Tobacco Users Here?

Yes, I know it's a "gross" habit, but I do enjoy it.

Any fellow users of dip or chew out there?

If so, what's your favorite?

I fancy a dip of Copenhagen, or a chew of Redman Golden Blend every now and again.

I bought a couple packs of Nepali chewing tobacco when I was over there and I quite like it. Not sure which brand it is because it doesnt have any english on it.

Its weird too, it just looks like loose tobacco, like if you shook it out of a cigarette, and it comes with a bag of white powder that you put on it and then crush it up in your palm and then stick it under your lip. I've never seen anything like it here.

Seems every country has their own way of doing smokeless tobacco.

Americans have moist dip and chew (America and Canada are some of the only countries I know of that have people who use them)

The English have powdered snuff that you rub on your gums or snort.

The Nepalese have the stuff you talked about.

The Swedish have snus, and it's VERY strong. I used to have some Odin's snus from Sweden that was insanely potent. I think it had something like 18mg of nicotine per 1 gram of tobacco. It's also pretty much totally absent of all TSNA's. Very safe.

That's the stuff I started on. It's nice because it's very clean and inconspicuous.

Only problem is that American snus is all but nonexistent. There isn't a lot to choose from, which is a shame really.

In India they have Khaini too. I wasnt a fan. I really like this Nepalese stuff, unfortunately I have no idea if its available over here.

I only chew long cut out doors cause im not a pro and I spit alot

I did it here and there but I am not really a habitual user. Grizz Green was my favorite, but I always liked to try the fruit flavors like Skoal Peach. I only really dipped long cut, never chewed.

Did anyone puke their first time? I didn't, it surprised me actually, because it was all over my mouth. There is definitely an art to putting a dip in.

I dipped regularly from age 15 until a year ago January, so almost 10 years. At times up to a can and a half a day.

Copenhagen was my regular. Had to give it up when the doc took some of my inner cheek out for biopsy.

Oddly enough, I still crave a dip fairly often.

I do like Camel Snus, but many snus fans hate the American stuff. In their defense, the American stuff isn't nearly as good as the Swedish snus.

If you like snus, do yourself a favor and order some Odin's or something. It's a bit expensive, but it's totally worth it. And like I said before, it's very, very strong. One pouch of Odin's has as much nicotine as an entire pack of light cigarettes, if that puts it in perspective for you.

As convenient as snus is, I do still prefer loose tobacco.

I did Grizzly Wintergreen for quite a while, and now I can hardly even smell the stuff without gagging. I really, really like Grizzly Natural, though. Most people find the smell and taste pretty offensive, but I love it. When I can't afford Copenhagen, Grizz Natural is the next best thing, and for half the price, too.

Dip has actually never made me sick. I know that the first time nicotine buzz can be extremely overwhelming, though.

I've never been addicted to it (honestly), so I've never really "craved" it. I know it's a tough thing to kick, though. Best of luck with that, man.
