yes, i am a juice whore. i am going to need a new box when my latest order comes in ...

i just dripped the last drop of my caramel macciato ... i have a carto with some left in it, but it has developed "wet burnt sock taste™"

Dripping is definitely preferred, but for me unrealistic. Cartos are just more convenient. Ever try to drip while driving? Not easy.

While at home, it depends. I typically only drip to try out flavors, I have a tendency to run my PV a little too hot and as a result, atomizers don't last me very long.

I usually get about a week out of a carto before it starts to get nasty.

the wetter you keep the carto, the longer you get before the sock taste invades ... hence the popularity of the carto tanks.

me, i prefer a top coil clearo ... easy to clean, silica wick doesn't alter the juice taste, and as long as they don't crack ... well, it's all good.

I had some smoktech dual coil clear cartos ... they are OK once you get 4.6v under them, but at that temp, they boil thru juice like a teakettle. more trouble than they are worth.

I have some of the Kanger coil changeable 2.4ml clearos with the ego threading. quickly becoming my go to high volume device. 1.8Ω, so 4v is plenty. kgo's and twist both are great with them. the wife likes them with the regulated 3.7 batts, but she likes a cooler vape than i do.

i got some "red hot" juice coming for my wife to try out - i know you like the cinnamon vapes - is this stuff gonna burn right though my clearos? do i need to look into a small pyrex carto tank?

right now i have 2 empty ce2's, one ST clear carto, 3 kanger 2.4ml clearos (changeable coil types) ... and some normal boge cartos coming.

wet sock or melty tube?

maybe i should just teach her to drip ...

well, my friend that makes his own juice came by last night for a little dripping session. on VF they did an experiment over a few weeks, making 70/30 10mg juice, with single flavors from the various flavoring vendors.

each week, they would receive 10-12 3ml bottles of the experiment juice ... then review them on the forums. interesting project, which resulted in a big ziplock box of 3ml bottle for me to sample last night.

highlights:
maple rum tobacco
vanilla custard
cantaloupe
juicy peach
hypnotic mist (supposed to be like some drink?)

also tried juicy vapors choclate covered orange peel and sweet corn ice cream - that last one was weird. he left me the 6ml choc orange one ... i really like it.

i also got some all vg 18mg keylime and pineapple with 15% flavor ... stuff is thick and great for dripping - not sure it will work in a tank though. 8 more flavors should be here by thursday.

More sweet-vapes 'organic sweet cinnamon' heading my way. I put an old LR306 on my 2-toned GLV to drip some oddball flavor samples I've got sitting 'round... I waited too long to order and my current cinnamon supply will be gone before the weekend is out.

that sucks ... i have about 15ml of my favorite tobacco blend left ... i'm gonna try the same "flavor" from a new vendor today i think ...

i have killed the tips and clouded 2 of my clearo tubes - one was mt dew (almost expected that one) and rum & cola (that surprised me) literally the tip from the rum cola one flew apart and off the top of the tube ...

so if anyone tries the kanger made 2.4ml clearo with the changeable coil - beware, these are EXTREMELY juice sensitive.

901 with a drip shield!!! I ditched wet sock cartos for wick cartos well over a year ago... modded the wick cartos with MAP tanks (carto tube cut down and inserted into a bigger diameter tube to let the wick swim)... then said forget all that crap and went right to direct dripping on bridgeless / wickless (most atty have tiny wicking hairs that can taste burnt in time).

I put 3 to 5 drops in, no mess, no fuss... lasts me an hour or 2 depending on my vaping intensity. My LR901 from avid last me 4 to 6 weeks each (last ordered 4 of them on 5/15, still have 2 unused ones on hand) and cost $8.99 each.

All I do is swish a little vodka in them ever week or so to keep the element clean of gunk.

i am super interested in the ERA ... a friend just got a Phoenix and loves it.

i was considering trying to build a super drippy atty out of an old giantomizer, but if you can get quality rebuildables for 15-20$, why bother?

I was building my own mods for awhile. I have about a dozen 3.7v 510 mods, sitting on a shelf collecting dust.

I had some really cool exotic cutoffs from some bass builds, so I made wooden box mods out of them. A few were made out of curly maple that looks fantastic.
