I've been on a big power pop kick lately (Nick Lowe, Squeeze, Rockpile, Marshall Crenshaw, etc.) and one of the real revelations has been Any Trouble. I wasn't super familiar with them, but the bouncy fun basslines really caught my ear. Did some googling and saw videos of Phil Barnes playing what looks like a '70's telecaster bass with a pick, and it sounds great. Just wanted to share!
