The Demon D7K sounds pretty darn good, but I've been told it gets overly aggressive with active basses. That may be what some are going for.
I will be honest, even though I have a Demon for sale in the classifieds, I've tried the Joyo Monomyth and it sounds better to me. Just by a little as they are similar.
