Last little while this site seems to be getting strange. Locks up all the time. Down in the lower left corner box there is much activity to do with transferring data to and from "SpringeServe".

When it does work (scrolling by itself) it will scroll down or up to where the banner ads are.

Most times I just "restart" the computer and that helps.

Happen to you?

Yes. This site is simply unreadable on mobile because of the slow process and ad assault. Sometimes when the moving banner thing is really bad, I go out of the thread to a menu, and back in. It helps for a few mins. After a while I just give up and go do something else.

I haven't noticed any TB problems or annoyances lately. Windows, OS X, & iOS mobile platforms all working fine for me with TB. No ads except the usual banners at top & bottom. I'm posting this from my iPhone and it's working 100% fine.

I think contributing is cheap and takes care of ads if I remember correctly. :D

I haven't had any problems on Galaxy S6, Lenovo with Windows 10, an older Windows 7 machine or an iPhone 6 using Safari.

I use the "Dark" theme and it's really clean all around.

Nothing like that for me, on PC, Android phone or tablet.
I'd run some anti-virus software if I were you.
Also, report this to the mods - there was a recent thread about similar problems and they asked that anything that seems 'off' be reported so they can check things their end.

I don't have any trouble on mobile, but mobile is the only platform I use with TB. One weird thing I've noticed lately, and maybe it's me or my phone, but posts that I manually spell check seem to sometimes convert or post to the site sans the corrections. I realize how funny this sounds now that I've finally said it, but it's happened with a surprising frequency of late. Of course it could just me getting old and suddenly unused to a format I've been using for a decade :)

Your page will scroll by itself, to the banner ad? That's weird. Can you give me an idea what the banner is for? If so I can block it. Or better yet you can click on the ad and copy/paste the destination URL here (makes it easier for me to find the ad).

Well...there are two banner ad boxes on any page I'm on here. One up top and one at the bottom.

It just rolls down the page until the banner is shown. Other times it goes up to top one. It does this right after the lockup or when things go funny...if I can get out of that.

I didn't notice a specific ad at the times. Just seemed like it's forcing the ad on me.

I'll keep an eye open for exactly what ads they are and let you know.

Desktop PC (AcerAX3995-ES20P).

Windows 10.

FireFox homepage.

McAfee Premium Anti-Virus package.

Seems to have started about maybe three days ago.

Ran a McAfee full scan but nothing came up.

Going to run MalWare Bytes...see if anything on there..
