Anybody ever installed the Sadowsky preamp?

I've really been thinking about getting one installed in my old Pilot 5 string, with either a set of his pickups or perhaps keeping the stock EMG Js...anybody installed (or had Roger or a good tech) install one of his preamps?

My $.02: Keep the bass stock and use the outboard Sadowsky (or Aguilar) preamp. They're fantastic and, if you add another bass, you can use the same preamp for it too!

+1. However I did put a Sadowsky pre and J-pups in my Jazz bass. Sounds nice. The outboard pre will do pretty much the same if you like bending over all the time to adjust the tone pots on the fly.
