Presumably the wall sections behind the sub wings come with it, so you have a corner wherever you set it up. Otherwise it would probably sound a little thin.

Let's also hope the wings detach for transport.

What this does remind me of were some old (90s?) bass cabinets my friend was talking about... I want to say the band that use them is Death From Above??? but I think I'm wrong. It's one of those bassist and drummer bands. The dude uses cabs that have 3 speakers at different angles... Anyone???

This came up on Kijiji locally. I'm just gape-jawed looking at it. And it's passive. And they want $700
CDN for it. I can't imagine how it sounds. Here's the description:

Try the SEARCH for topics that interest you; nothing is more enervating to some veterans than a question or opinion that's on its 10,000th appearance.

Other veterans don't mind this at all. New threads keep things fresh and generally offer new info, ideas and perspectives on even the most often discussed topics. Not to mention, some "veterans" get enerved by old threads being resurrected by someone using the SEARCH function.

Obvious milliseconds of dissynchronicity due to staggered placement of transducers.

No, no, no!! The staggering of those drivers is 100% intentional. In the late 70's many hi-fi speaker companies had different variations of "time-aligned" speaker designs. Usually by placing the midrange and/or tweeters farther back so they were in the same plane as the woofer. Therefore all the frequencies arrive at your ear at the same exact instant. Now we have Sonic Maximizers to align frequencies and so we don't need time-aligned speakers any longer.

The "bunches of midrange drivers" design seems reminiscent of the Bose 801 speakers.
