Anybody tried one of these/What is in the Ibanez water supply.

I must congratulate Ibanez for thoughtfully producing a bass for the blind!:hiding:

Not sure how old these are but they just came into the stores here in Scotland. In the first store I saw it in the guy talked me out of even trying it, and was moaning about having to try and shift the thing (he didn't see it happening).

Who is this thing aimed at? The knobs and tuning pegs look especially cheap, and the yellow fretboard must be made of something unusual to get it that colour right?

All thoughts and ruminations welcome.
 
It's a trend inspired by 80's guitars. They have a lot of garish color schemes for some of their guitars too. DiMarzio even sells neon colored pickups. Probably aimed at metal players going for the "ironic" look.

Also, Steelers, Penguins, Pirates fans....this is your bass. haha.

This thing says kids construction set to me. As I said I was talked OUT of playing it by the sales rep.
one thing ive learned NEVER listen to sales people.
