I keep getting new post threads to "a tear has been shed for this guitarist" thread. I get 10-12 at a time. Funny thing is that I've unsubscribed from that thread maybe 3 days ago. What gives??

Anyone else getting multiple notifications?

my phone app keeps saying the same thing for "don't reply to this thread". I'm not sure I'm even sub'd to that thread! I'm looking now...
weird...guess I was sub'd but hasnt' been posted in since May. I un-sub'd...we'll see what happens.
I'm still getting notifications for the Spector club that I accidentally subscribed to last night before bed. I unsubscribed earlier this morning but I'm stil getting them at work.
My phone went off several times last night also, y ringer was on for my alarm in the morning and the notifications got me a few times during the night, too.

I have the same problem. I'm getting the same notification every 30 minutes or so. Been happened the last few days.
Well, it's 9:36pm here and now I get both notifications for the original thread I said I get notifications on (even tho I un'sub'd) and now THIS thread.
Any news on this? I was going to notify a Mod about it but seen it was moved so I'm guessing it's being looked into? Just for troubleshooting purposes, I am only experiencing this issue on my iPhone app and not on the computer. I'm thinking of deleting the app and re-installing.

I'm currently getting multiple notifications for PM's that are days old. I've turned off the notifications altogether since they come in every 2 hours or so and they still come in. Ugh.

bottom line: old TB app has issues that can't be fixed and it has been removed from app stores. We will be launching a free branded tapatalk app in next while, you can buy tapatalk (works with multiple forums) in interim

40-50 times a day, I get repeated alerts saying I have a new message from Relic. Lol I mean I always thought I was kinda cute, but wow Relic has really made me feel special these last couple a days
No really, all jokes aside, this is getting sorta irritating its all day, ALL NIGHT and just won't stop.
I've tried EVERYTHING to sort it out and nothing works.

did you read the links I sent? There is a problem with the old app, it has been removed from app store. Only solution is to turn off notifications in the app or delete the app.

I'm not sure if those are the links you're referring to, but none the less, it seems my options are limited to deleting the app and getting the tapatalk app (or whatever it's called)
To be honest, I'm not real sure what app I'm even using currently.
I guess this would be a good time to venture into the dreaded settings area of my phone.
I will say, if using TB on my phone W/O any app at all ends up being my only option, I'd much rather just deal with the multiple alerts.
Last thing I want, is to try navigating the site in regular mode over the phone.
I'll look into what I'm using and see if I can't figure out which app I'm using, maybe I'll get it squared away.

Me too. Multiple notifications to threads that don't have new posts and that I unsubscribed to. I turned off the notifications in my iPhone's settings and it still happens. I can't put my phone into silent mode because I need it as an alarm clock. What's next???
I just bought the tapatalk app for $2.99
I've only played with it for a few minutes but it's smooth and once I get used to it, I'm sure I'll like it. I also just deleted the old talkbass app. No more complaints from my wife because of multiple notifications at 3am!!!
