Anyone else in love with the jazz bass?

This is my first post here. In my band I play a Fender MIM jazz bass V. We do classic rock, modern rock, pop punk, and some metal covers and we're starting to do originals. I find the jazz bass fits in with every song i play, whether I play it with a pick, fingerstyle, or slap. Anyone else in this situation?

The Jazz is the bomb. And you're right, it's super-versatile.

Yep. Try wiring one with a series/parallel option..it's like using a P bass to play a Jazz

Thanks for all the feedback, I'm also debating getting a better 4 string to go with my 5. I tried out a Lakland Skyline 44-01 the other day and I really liked the sound and feel. Anyone else have one of those?

i've always preffered a Pbass body and a pbass pickup. I like the neck of a jazz just as as much as a p's neck. But i do love the bridge pup of a j. Im thinking of putting one in the bridge position of my pbass and get some cool tones.
