Anyone going to see TOOL?

No.

I remember seeing them at Club Lingerie--Rage Against The Machine opened up for them (I think it was RATM's first gig--and The Central before it became Johnny Depp's Viper Room. I've seen them at a few other places too when I would go to all of their shows but never at the Green Jello Loft. Of all the LA bands I'd say Tool is in that influential group. I guess you could call them an LA band.
X, Tool, Fear, BLack Flag, Jane's Addiction, RATM, Van Halen, The Germs. Something these bands had in common: they were all doing something good & original & giving music a new doodoo-hole.

That is unbelievable. Danny Carey is on record saying they thought they'd get into the studio late 2013.

I can't believe it has taken them so long to come out with an album. Getting tired of waiting.

Get ready to wait even longer!
Puscifer is currently rehearsing. For a new album or tour? i have no clue. But either one will probably have some effect on the Tool album.

Jeff's FB page also confirms this :(

well... there playin in Austin on this tour but Im still not ready. Ill go first chance I get for the new album.

I went and saw them 4 times in one year for 10,000 days and got severely burnt out. I went from not allowing anything else to be played in my truck but TOOL, to not listening to a single song of theirs for 3 years.

I wish Maynard would stop acting like a teenage girl and attempting to "find himself" or *** hes doing wwith his wine, APC, Puscifer, not being productive HOPEFULLY.... well have our new album.

I heard they said fall 2014 is supposed to be the release for it.... but Ive heard that 8 other times for 8 other falls as well.

I just wish they would fire Maynard and be an instrumental band.

Saw them last night. Religious experience.

Interesting note though. When they played Stinkfist, JC spent a little time before the song fiddling around trying to get the right tone for the intro, seemed like he had it, then just triggered a sampler that played it for him.
