anyone got a Carvin/Kiesel vader headless?

My guess on why it has 2 strap buttons is so that when you set it down on the floor it rests on the strap buttons. With the placement of one strap button, the bass wouldn't sit straight and would be more prone to fall over.

Just my 2 cents. (I did read above someone say they actually use the 2nd strap button on a different bass.)

That's the common wisdom, but I just recently heard of someone using the "wrong" button to change the hang. I'll need to experiment.
 
I've just ordered a Vader 5 shorty. Would love to hear more thoughts from people! I just realized it's 19mm spacing which has me a little spooked. I'm a jazzer and plan on E to C.

Very eager for opinions and what strings people have tried etc...
