I just ordered one this morning, and stuck with the 34" scale...been playing this and 35" for so long, that 30" would not be right for me at all. Anyway, check this out:

That's the common wisdom, but I just recently heard of someone using the "wrong" button to change the hang. I'll need to experiment. My guess on why it has 2 strap buttons is so that when you set it down on the floor it rests on the strap buttons. With the placement of one strap button, the bass wouldn't sit straight and would be more prone to fall over.
Just my 2 cents. (I did read above someone say they actually use the 2nd strap button on a different bass.)
Did they update you with info, or did you have to reach out to them?@HeavyDuty
Completion date was the 16th of last month, so it should be due any day now.
I've just ordered a Vader 5 shorty. Would love to hear more thoughts from people! I just realized it's 19mm spacing which has me a little spooked. I'm a jazzer and plan on E to C.
Very eager for opinions and what strings people have tried etc...
