Anyone have any experience with an Ibanez SR405EBCW?

I'm thinking about getting a 5 string and need some advise. I like this bass. Nice enough price and the transparent gray burst is sick. I've never played a 5 string and wondering about how much different the neck feel and weight is. I looked at the specs and the nut width is only 5mm larger than my current bass (TRBX174) and the radius is 50mm larger. How much of a difference is this? Thanks in advanced!

Sweetwater posts the weights of instruments in stock, so you can get an idea what the weight difference would be from there. The specs on the width and thickness of the neck should also help. Another issue to note is that the 16.5-mm string spacing on the 5-string SRs (except the SRSC805) is much narrower than on your 4-string. Also, keeping the extra string quiet is something you have to learn.

Ok thanks I didn't realize it was so new.

It looks nice but with so many SR basses available for cheap on the used market, I don't see the point in buying an entry model at new price.
