Double Bass Anyone have knowledge of N-PIN Inc.

I have been looking to replace my endpin both because it slips and is heavy.
Doing a google search I came across the N-PIN Inc. (Link Removed) site. I couldn't find any result about these endpins doing a search here on Talkbass.
It looks interesting, especially the bicycle like quick release. One thing the concerns me though is the larger sized plug.

Anyone have knowledge, experience, or thoughts about this design?

I completed a survey for Heather a good while ago and had forgotten all about them. It looks like a variation of Brent Norton's aluminium and carbon fibre endpin, which I like lot.

You could email Heather for the specs on it (I have) but I would think that the endpin hole would just need a gentle ream.
