Very very nice custom basses made by Rick Miruzzi (Sydney).
The price seems fair based on what the bassplayer used to sell them for a couple of years ago, they are lovely things and I don't think he is making them anymore as he was getting on a bit when i got mine about 15 years ago.
The design is based on some instruments made by Atilla Balogh in Canada. I believe Rick used to work for / with Atilla - http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?p=6307358#post6307358
My bass teacher at the time (Chris Soulos), had one and put me in touch with Rick.
