Hi, I've seen this label on several occasions, does anyone know any name associated with the initials in the stylized treble clef logo? To me it seems to be E P or D P. Thanks.
It's a label usually put on the instruments constructed in the Luby factory, Czech Republic (formerly Czechoslovakia). The initials refer to the master luthier who supervised or finished the instrument.
Thanks Mikman, Perhaps a member of the Pilar or Pulpaneck families? Any suggestions were to look for more information? Thanks again. This one is on a very nice instrument. Thanks again.
