Anyone knows what brand this bass is?

Does anyone know what brand this bass is?

It doesn't have a brand name on it, not on the headstock, nowhere.

I borrowed it from someone in the studio downstairs, he doesn't know it either but it has a good indie sound.

I think it's a refinished '70s Hohner built by Moridaira in Japan, although several other manufacturers used that general model as well.
