Anyone play the Big Knob Octavius pedal?

Never played an analog octave fuzz made for guitar that I enjoyed on bass. They tend to sound best on guitar when you play with the neck pickup and above the 12th fret, so they don't really do anything special on bass IMO.
Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of... I like fuzz on my bass, as well as an octaver, but somehow the combo pedal of the two doesn't do well...
Fuzz and octave up or octave down? Octave fuzzes like this for guitar make a chimey sound that's an octave above the played note.
I know what the pedal does, I'm trying to understand which combo of octave+fuzz you're looking for.
If you can get the pedal cheap, try it out and flip it if it doesn't work out for you.
