Anyone put a Darkstar/BiSonic in a P bass?

Got a reissue guild bisonic in my epi eb0 (neck).

Have a pbass (eastwood airline jetsons jr). Keeping it stock but added an ashtray.

Have resisted getting a cheaper p to mod for middle position bisonic. Maybe cheapo bronco one day. Or tmb30. Just love its look and sound. My jetsons a bit unique to mod it that far, but tempting.

And want to branch out (51 bass pickup). Maybe need a Frankenstein to further mod. Hence the tmb30. Gives me neck, middle and bridge to mod.

LOVE your collection. Do you prefer the BiSonic or B-90 in the Armitage?

They're both great, honesty not sure I have a preference. The only thing I really like more about the LazenB-90 is that it's hum canceling. It hasn't been an issue on gigs but there can be a slight hum with the BiSonics. I did spend some time the other day comparing my Lincoln and Armitage basses…

I did the route on my P bass yesterday. I purchased the router template with my pickup. I know my way around a router...
It never dawned on me that I would have to fill the pickup routes with wood, as if I hadn't, where the mounting screws go, there would have been no wood underneath.
I took it to a local shop to be finished.
Hopefully pictures to come VERY soon

Well here she is!!!
Everything looks ok. Considering I had a mishap with the router on the last pass.
I made the black riser out of the thinnest plastic I could find on my CO2 laser
It covers the P bass pickup cutout, which is wider than the DS.

The sound/ I don't know if this pickup is just super hot, or if I need to go to 500k pots.
With the volume and tone full up(as always), the E string is mud.
If I lower the volume, ever so slightly, it's great.
Once I get that figured out, I can see really loving this pickup.
Almost like a P, but punchier and with more clarity
