Anyone swapped the valve in a hartke ha2000?

Hi, i recently picked up a Hartke ha2000 as a spare of ebay, i have grown to really like the little devil, for a 200 watter its got a very big sound, and i like the 'tube' emulator. however having checked the manual, it has a valve in the emulator circuit. as the head is around 10 years old and i assume never had the valve changed i wondered if swapping out the stock valve for a sovtek or somthing else of higher quality would make a difference?
has anyone replaced the valve in one of these?

I have a HA2000 head and it started to act up and upon closer inspection I realized that the tube was burnt, so I took a quick trip to guitar center and bought a Groove Tubes 12AX7 to replace it.

What a diference! I totally recommend you change the preamp tube on your bass, it's going to give your amp new life.

Hmmmm....I had a HA2500 for a while and it didnt have a tube in it, only tube emulation.

it's entirely possible tubes can last a lot longer than 10 years. if you're looking for a tonal change it might be fun to see what a better tube might do, but if it sounds good to you, i'd leave it.
