Anyone use the Stewart PA 1000 Amp?

I was just wondering if anyone out there had any experience using the Stewart PA 1000? I was considering buying one for my rack setup but I wanted some general information on the unit before I decide to purchase it can someone help me out there.

I use the PA500 now and then, this would be equivalent of the world 600 and the one you are looking the world 1.2, the only difference I can tell is that the PA 500 and PA1000 have chrome fascias.

I used my PA-1000 for bass with an Ashdown RPM-1 for a while. I bridged into 4 ohms to a 4x10 Avatar Neo cab. Very nice rig. In a 4 space rack it is light and portable. Leave a half space above and below for ventilation (no fan). As with any digital power supply amp the wall voltage needs to be 120 volts or the power supply won't keep up. Usually only a problem when playing outdoor gigs.

Since then I've upgraded to a World 1.6. The PA-1000 now does duty as the power amp for my home stereo. It does an excellent job there also, very flat and clean response.

I've got an old PA 200 I use for monitors. Still kicking avter all these years.

For a couple months I have been toying with a sansamp programmable BDDI into a stewart PA-50 into a DIY 1x10.

Even bridged mono (50 watts?) it doesnt have enough yank for anything other than quiet to medium practice sessions. I'd say it probably gets a wider (deeper AND better highs) tone but not as loud as my 35 watt PV minx, which is more mid/low mid focused.
