Anything Similar to Snap Jack Cables?

Hey,
So I've been very intrigued in the Snap Jack style cable, as it would be nice to quickly switch basses between songs. Yet, they seem to be discontinued, and I haven't been able to find anything.

Is there anything similar to them, or a link to purchase the Snap Jacks? Thanks.

I agree, but doesn't that disqualify silent cables (which I like)?
yep :)

two times i’ve been in bands with guys using those cables;

one guy’s neutrik silent plug broke after a month, no longer being “silent”

the other time the bass player had the daddario cable with the manual off switch on it;

after the third time of watching him frantically check his bass, his pedals, his amp and cab wondering why he was getting no sound i was ready to grab that stupid cable and throw it out a window

I have a few Mogami Silent cables. Different lengths. Also shorts to go to my wireless with that mini connector. No problems at all. They are a bit pricey but they work. I always use the right angle silent to hit the bass. Right angle works for me on all my basses no matter where the output jack is located.

I've had problems with every design of plug, more with the regular-type cheapies than anything else.

One of my silent Neutriks was maybe a bit more finicky, but that was only after I bent it.

I have a Switchcraft silent plug going on 30 years old that still works fine. I prefer the Switchcraft much much much. The Neutriks have tiny little parts in them that I don't trust.

I have a D'Addario that works fine, but as you describe, it's manual with a switch, that seems to goober up the flow of what I want them to do.

that's the big fat one with the little protrusion beside the plug shaft?

it seems to be the most robust of the lot, i just wish they had a skinny right angle version.

I have a snapjack been using it for the better part of ten years. I wish they were still available to purchase. It works great, but I would like more ends to keep in all of my guitars. Great product in my opinion.
