Apparently Hamlet and The Lion King are pretty much the same thing....

Ya THINK????

Not only that, but I went to Strange Brew when it came out...I was a bit slow on the uptake...but when they headed up the hill to Elsinore Brewery, I sat up in my seat and said: "Oh my god...it's MACBETH!!!!!"

One of my all-time favorite movies right there.

"If I didn't have puke breath, I'd kiss you." :D

Now it can be revealed: "The Lion King 1 and 1/2" = "Rosencrantz and Guilderstern are Dead".

I thought everybody already knew. later, ron

How about Tom Stoppard's play "Rosencrantz and Guilderstern are Dead" - inspired by the fact that Laurence Olivier's classic film of Hamlet leaves out these two characters completely, yet makes perfect sense!? ;)

Tom Stoppard is on the short list of my favorite playwrights.
