What do you think are the coolest applications that music/sound has in the world.. To give an example there are already researches being done to study the possibility to kill cancer cells using certain frequencies, or another example the effect that certain music has on the brain.

I work in a dementia care home.
At certain times of the day there needs to be a nice........calming........soothing........atmosphere.
Music helps a lot.
As the residents are getting up we have classical music, nice whilst having breakfast.
Of course it's not just the music itself, it brings back memories of (hopefully) good times.
After lunch we could have a session of WW11 songs: Vera Lynne and The Andrews Sisters type vibe going on. We all have a bit of a sing-song and the carers get to clown about for an hour or so.
What surprised me about introducing music to the residents is the great scope of different types of music they enjoy.

"In The Mood"
But this one never fails to deliver:
I will be the only one thinking of Stanley Kubrick and Peter Sellers though.
