its worth it because u get guarantee that if something happens to it,u can simply return it without a receipt and get a brand spankin new one,try doing that with the other cables.
monster cables are great cables.. but i'd rather go for mogami than monster. i like mogamis better but they both have the whole lifetime warranty thing and they're both good quality. i just don't like the rumors i hear about monsters and their whole lawsuit bullying thing.
oh plus, i mean it's kind of subtle so i don't really hear the difference but i heard mogamis color the tone of your instrument less than monster cables. so mogamis would be sending your instrument tone through more "clearly" than monsters i guess. which would actually be a good/bad thing depending on yourself.. i'd rather do all my tone shaping and coloring through my instrument.. i wouldnt want the cable to become a factor. it gets too complicated then hahaha.
but some people i know like the monster bass cables because of the way the cable affects the tone of their bass. i don't like it.
