Double Bass Are these D'Addarios fake or just bulk?

I bought these D'Addario Preludes off eBay, and they've arrived in a plastic bag instead of proper packaging. Is anyone familiar with this seller, or with the strings themselves well enough to identify whether they're legit or counterfeit? Here are some photos:

I bought a similar set for cello and they were just fine. Don't know if it was the same seller. Seller described as bulk/ no package. Not sure how they are able to do it, but seller claimed (I believe) to be authorized D'Addario dealer.

There's a retailer here in canada that also sells D'Addario bass strings they get in bulk, so you don't get the fancy sleeves. (no felts either)
That said, they look perfectly legit.

We can confirm that those are real strings! That said, we never recommend purchasing strings from eBay. This is what our bulk string sales look like, but it's a violation of our policy for dealers to be selling them this way. We're trying to contact the seller about it. Happy playing!

Good call on not buying ebay strings. I'm assuming the bulk strings are meant to be sold on instruments? Not for individual resale.

I only buy used strings on Ebay.
