I don't think anyone ever slapped a Sabre harder than Armand Sabal-Lecco, and I include the great Louis Johnson in that number.

Armand Sabal-Lecco: Sabre Rattler Supreme!

I don't think anyone ever slapped a Sabre harder than Armand Sabal-Lecco, and I include the great Louis Johnson in that number.
Why have I never heard of this guy.
He is more articulate than LJ.
I think Sabres are awesome basses. More comfy for me than a Jazz.
I hesitated on one maybe 3 yrs ago at GC. Black / Birdseye maple board/ light weight / reissue/$ 900. I had popped into the GC in Gainesville dropping my youngest off at UF while waiting for food order. Called them the next day . It was gone.
That happened to me twice with an Ibanez ATK and a Yamaha BB735A.Why have I never heard of this guy.

He was Stanley Clarke's right hand man for a long time. He has done studio work out of LA and Europe too.
He is one of favorite thumpers. Energy and powerful technique are the pinnacle of thumping as @lowdownthump stated, he does it WITH articulation. I am still Gasing hard for a Sabre.
