Ashdown Amp Problems - VU Gauge

Hello all,
This is my virginal post so be gentle with me.
I've got a Ashdown MAG C210T-300 EVOII and the VU gauge has stopped working.
I've had a look inside to see if it was anything obvious and it seems that two solder points behind the gauge are a bit scorched so i think that the wiring for the gauge has shorted out or something?!?
Any advise on how to fix it would be gratefully recieved.

is it the the light? or the actual needle? Ashdown have really good support, my VU light went and I emailed them and the sent me a new light for free.

The light is just 2 solder points, take off the pots and you can get right in there.

my light went and Ashdown UK mailed me within a week to my door a new bulb and VU meter... took about 10 minutes to replace (with a little electronics knowledge)
