ashdown amps

Greetings,

i want to have ramones an kyuss kind of sound
and i totally found it with my marshall mb30 ( great amp just buy it its great)

but time has come...
now i need a gigamp and thought up to 250 watts and 1 12 " speaker or maybe 2 10" speaker would do my job good
and i never giged before so im broke trying to sell or exhange a friends redburst kliracort bass to get a bigger bassamp

lucky hit brought me a ashdown amp with 180 watts for cheap money (40 bucks) but its power supply unit seems to have caused a short circuit and maybe will again
seller has no clue hoping it works when i exchange one or two fuses

anybody had a breakdown like that on any amp?:help:
or heared of ashdown amps

Rock on play bass:bassist:

hi
im like u
i read ashdown t15 180 watts is just right for my sound can be muddier then the mb 30 but hell yeah that would be ok for 40 bucks:-)

but u know when it is a daily routine repair job,
like change the psu and 5 fuses (never did it bevor but that would be half an hour of unscrew 10 bolts get the case of the circuit board, find the fuses, look out for black solderpoints or burnt/shrunken cables, new fuses in it and 10 bolt to screw tight again thats it)
i would have a magnificent amp for 40 bucks

i just hoped someone busted his amp :-)by connecting wrong amps once and had the same failure on the psu

to be friendlier, i hope someone in here knows what happens when u plug in, for example two 4 ohm boxes in a 4 ohm amp with two jacks when they suggest two 8 ohm ones or one 4 ohm amp

:hyper:

well
eddie van halen
could just test it out for me with a brandnew ashdown amp

just to know it, could this be a method to get a new sound
and then tell me whats up with this broken powersupplyunit

wellwell
i guess van halen is not a member of talkbass.com:rolleyes:
and i can t use this amp:confused:
:(
:bawl:
:crying::crying:

hope u now the talking about van halen ment to be a pushup and a thing to have a smile not headache from
get me right

but seriously
i bet 40 bucks and the bass
van halen would know whats up with this amp right away reading my words
