I have a CTM15 for home use. It’s through an Ampeg 15” fliptop cab. I wanted valve tone but was concerned about volume. At 15watts, it’s too loud! 
I keep the gain dial off - so you’re really not missing it if you have the LB. I’m having to keep the volume pots on my bass turned down because the amp is just too loud! Which is annoying because I find the tone of my basses is best when volume is 70-100%.
Overall, I find the Ashdown CTM15 a great unit. I’m coming from an Ampeg background but i can’t justify the price for home use. Actually, the Ashdown guys have been phenomenal with their treatment of me. There isn’t a local dealership but they “made it happen” so I could try the 15 before buying it. Ampeg never cared about me!
