I’m looking at an ashdown d600 bass amp head that seems to be fairly used from France. I live in America and they can’t ship directly to me but I will use a 3rd party handler to have the music shop send the head to and the handler can ship it to me.
If this head were to die on me, do you think it would be serviceable by an electronics shop or at least by ashdown? If not, I assume it would be too niche and that I’ll have to work on it myself.
the alternative is buying a newer ashdown 12 band 600 (which isn’t on their site anymore either) for $1,200-$1,400 while the d600 costs $800ish including tax and shipping.
