Hi Justin,
I have been looking into picking a small tube amp specifically for recording. My first thought was a b-15, but there not really available in Ireland or the rest of Europe. So i was looking at these new amps Ashdown Engineering | Bass Amplification
My question is, in your experience which one of these amps might be more useful in the studio, the 200 watt would be beefy enough for small gigs but the 30 watt would break up at much lower volumes. I was also considering picking up the dp-200 only and coupling it with a 112 like an aguilar or something. Its a big purchase, so I thought i'd ask someone with experience of fliptop amps in general.
Thanks.
