Ashdown MAG combo

Does anybody have any experience they can share with the Ashdown MAG combo amps, specifically the 410 version. If you have experience with the others i would be interested in hearing that also.

I have an opportunity to trade a guitar amp for one, and I have experience with the abm series but I dont know anything about the MAGs... thanks for the help

the other band in my practice space has the MAG300/210 combo. It sounds pretty nice to me. Definitely more of a 'vintage' tone than a modern one. I've only played on it for like 20 minutes, but I was fairly impressed. It was plenty loud and clear and surprisingly bassy for a 210, I thought. It was not the punchiest sound, though. I would say try before you buy. but i would almost always say that.

well, i use a Mag300/115 combo and i love it.i wanted a 210 in the begining but now, i am much happier i didn't do that. i love it, it's heavy built and the tone , Oh Lord, it's great. i didn't think that sme time before tough but i realised that it was the bass not the amp.
i just bought this AWSOME!!!!! bongo and i just realised the tone of the amp. it's so great and even if it's a 15" hornless it has punch. the high...i like them , don't know if i want more than this ( probably yes in the future ), it suits me fine.if i dial the high past 3 o'clock, it crunches u're teeth so, i use it flat.

it has some kind of octave effect built in ( subharmonic ) but, it's a15" , so, u wont be able to hear it much unless u have a 210 ad on it.

overall, i love it, i wont change it soon. i wanted to try something else, but since i bought the bongo, I LOVE IT!!!

P.D. i played a lil through a 410 / Mag 300 Head and i found that it lacks of low end ( for my taste ).

i like highs but without sacrificing the lows. i prefere lows more than highs

this is my humble rig!

I play a mag300 210 combo. I love it. Yes, the tone is great. My band plays oldies/classic rock/some newer pop-rock. I've been very happy with this amp.

I've recently added a no-name 1-15 cab to it, but honestly I've only taken the 1x15 cab to practice one time because I just don't need it. I just found the 1x15 for cheep on Craigslist.

I think the mag300 combo's are a good double duty practice/backline rig for small gigs. Like one of the other posters said though, they are pretty heavy.

Here's mine:
