ashdown MK500 top

thnx YAUQO!

I made one mistake:
one cab is 150 Watts (the 1x15") and one is 250Watts (the 2x10")
and the cabinets together: can I just add up the Watts (400Watts)?
Wil these make a good fit with the 575Wattrms from the mk500? Or will i damage the speakers?

The Ashdown power stage is stated as 575RMS, so that would be almost 290W per 8ohm load at max output. The amp would not know that one of your cabs was only rated at 150, so in theory you would be overpowering the 15 at only half output.

Things are never straightforward with power handling specs so it's possible that it would start to distort even earlier. Personally I would suggest using cabs rated at or above the potential output (either 2x 300W 8ohm or 1x 600W 4ohm). 2x 250W would probably be OK if you were carful with the volume and listened for unwanted distortion.

I bought an Eden 410XLT cabinet (700Watts @ 4 ohms).
I had my first gig today, and I was blown away :-)
the sound is GREAT! All band members noticed the difference in my sound! Enough lows and very present, without being too loud. Hard to describe in words; does that make any sense to you guys?
