Hello all!
I'm wondering if anyone has experience with these Ashdown Rootmaster EVO 410T II cabinets? If so, could you offer some insights about it? GC and MF both have them listed as being 600w cabs, but Ashdown's web site says they are 450w. (The only difference I can see is that Ashdown don't have the "T" after 410, but GC and MF do.)
Be that as it may, this cab is a decent price, and weighs only 46 lbs. I'm thinking of pairing it with an Ampeg PF-350, or a PF-500, I'm just not 100% certain which one yet. But I'm leaning toward the PF-350. If the cabinet is indeed 600w, 8 ohms, it should handle either head well enough on its own, I would think. As would two of them in parallel, for 4ohms. I've always been a huge Hartke proponent, but if this Ashdown cab is rated for 600w, and lighter than the Hartke 410TP 300w or 410XL 400w, that may be the tipping point. Plus, this cab is more in my price range than a Hartke Hy-Drive 410 cab. Any insights are much appreciated! Thanks all!
